These tracks comprise the bands very first demo. Pegritz and aRvin tolled away from late 2000, until mid 2001 working in a primitive DOS tracker.

Morpheus Laughing 1.0 (as it were)

This represents the only remaining tracks from the first incarnation of Morpheus Laughing. This was well before we knew what we were doing.

aRvin would spend hours and hours obsessively editing sounds, while Pegritz would sequence it. Had we lived closer together we probably would have gotten it done much quicker, but as it was we did what we could.

Funny thing is.... this is pretty much the arrangement we have now, though we have much more sophisticated tools to work with, and the chops to use said tools.

Looking back at it all we are both proud of what we could accomplish way back when, if we were to do it again we'd probably ease up on the distortion.
